Tokio Hotel stands by a special offer for their fans: A summercamp on german ground.

The event is really expensive.

Tokio Hotel is back! Closer than ever the german band wants to present itself. The strategy: "a summer camp with the fans. one summer, one island, 4 days, 3 nights, 500 persons, 100 tepees, 275 beds, one million memories, one event." - thats the official announcement of the band. The idea isnt't well-received by the fans for an understandable reason.

Tokio Hotel demand a considerable sum for the festival.

The band around the Kaulitz twins Bill and Tom, 28, demands a lot of money for the event, that'll happen in July. Fans can choose from six different packages. The prices are staggered according to the content and the number of participants.

The cheapest offer for one person is 799 € and the most expensive is 3599€. But what did you get for it?

All offers are the same: 3-days program, a convierge service, access to all summer camp areas and activities, a "Tokio Hotel history live concert", a professional photo with the band, an exclusive summercamp festival wristband, full pension (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and unlimited access to the water station.

If you're happy with it and sleep in your own tent, 799€ will be due. If you're sleeping in your own Camper instead of a tent, you have to pay 100€ more. 

The most expensive package is, when you wanna sleep in a "luxury tepee" with a queen size tent bed,  and "comfort equipment".

It will be cheaper, if you're in a group: two people with 2 single tent beds cost "only" 1799€. If you share a tepee with 4 people, you can save more money and only pay 999€, a only three-digit-sum.

While the comments on instagram are deactivated, you can read the displeasure of the fans on facebook.

Comments like "You lost the sense of reality." "Coachella is even cheaper than this." or "do you think about that not everyone can afford such a high price? It makes me sad, that it looks like only the money is important..." - show the lack of understanding of the fans about the planned prices.

The band hasn't responded to the reproachful comments of the potential participants, yet.

Disproportionate sums or not: it is up to each of you to decide whether or not to participate in the camp.
